42-year-old actress Rebel Wilson stars in Netflix's high school comedy Senior Year . She plays a woman who wakes up from a 20-year coma in which she ended up in a cheerleading accident during her senior year.
The moment before the near-fatal fall, she is ready to be crowned prom queen. Because that didn't work out just in the nick of time, she decides to go back to school to finish the year, even though times have changed without her.
And so she ends up in her 2000 outfits again at the current high school with all the hilarious incidents that entails - check the trailer. That idea reminded me a bit of the movie 'Never Been Kissed' with Drew Barrymore. Let that be a movie from 1999 (feel old yet?).
