Easter. Some celebrate it with an extensive Easter brunch with the whole family. Others mainly use it as an excuse to snack on extra chocolate (eggs). Whatever you do, Easter is the perfect opportunity to do something fun or to relax. Because isn't it secretly quite relaxing to take it easy in your pyjamas during Easter, instead of being forced to sit at the Easter loaf? Here are 7 ideas to help you relax during Easter. Just in your familiar pyjamas.
1 - Put on a nice movie
Of course, we all know Christmas movies. But Easter is also a good opportunity to enjoy a nice movie in your pyjamas. An Easter movie is a bit difficult (unless you like Calimero the Chick!), but thanks to Netflix you will certainly not lack movies. Dream away with a summer romcom or sit down for the exciting horror or crime movie that has been on your list for a long time. Add some popcorn and Easter eggs and you are ready for a day of Netflix & chill.

2 - Act like a kitchen prince or princess in your pyjamas
Baking Easter eggs is probably a challenging task, but there are plenty of other delicious things you can conjure up on the table for Easter. Baking and cooking all day is not such a punishment. Especially not if you can eat your creations yourself.
For example, make a sugary sweet cake with Easter eggs as a topping, bake French toast or Easter cookies yourself or make a simple but always delicious apple pie. And do you want something more unique? Then you can find a few recipes on the site Laura's Bakery for creations that are almost too beautiful to eat.

3 - An old-fashioned games afternoon
Rummikub , Monopoly and Scrabble old-fashioned? No way! Be honest, a board game is much more fun than playing games on your small phone screen. You probably have a game lying around that doesn't deserve to gather dust in the back of the cupboard. Get the box out and start playing again.
Are you alone at Easter? Then Yahtzee might be a good option. You can also play it against yourself and it is really fun to do.

4 - Get DIYing
I'm sure I'm not the only one who finds crafting the perfect relaxing activity. Yes, even at Easter. There are plenty of ways to entertain yourself while DIYing. For example, start a bullet journal or start watercoloring. If necessary, watch a few YouTube videos for some explanation and you're ready to go! Making your own cards, restoring old furniture or painting dishes are also great activities in my opinion. You can do it in your pajamas. Or well, I would wear an apron when painting. Unless you want to give your pajamas a lick of paint of course.

5 - Get to work on the puzzle
Puzzling is also not just something people did in the distant past. We bet you like it more than you think! You probably still have a large jigsaw puzzle lying around somewhere. Make it your project for this Easter and throw yourself enthusiastically into the many puzzle pieces. Also fun to do together by the way. Immediately a good relationship or friendship test, such a puzzle.

6 - Give your interior a spring makeover
Easter is of course the spring festival. In other words, the time to bring the spring atmosphere into your home. By the way, you can do that perfectly well without going to the furniture store or spending your hard-earned savings on new accessories. You probably have enough items with which you can brighten up your interior.
Get the cozy spring items out of the storage room, grab a big broom and a few cleaning cloths and start tidying up, cleaning and changing. Swap items around, replace your pillowcases with something more cheerful and also take the dustpan through your house. Okay, it may not be the most relaxing activity. But it does give a nice result. And you can do it in your pajamas!

7 - Hide in a good book all day long
I am certainly not the only one whose bookcase is full of books that I โreally need to read againโ. What better time for that than now, at Easter? Keep your pyjamas on, grab the top book from the pile and let yourself be carried away by your book. Exactly as long as you want.
Not a bookworm? Then a stack of magazines is also a good idea. Or how about an audiobook or e-book? Enough reading (or listening) material to keep you entertained all day long.

Have a relaxing Easter!
So you really don't have to leave the house to make something beautiful with Easter. In fact, you don't even have to take off your pyjamas for a fun Easter party. Puzzle, read and cook to your heart's content. Celebrate Easter the way you like. In your formal attire or just in your pyjamas. And don't forget to grab an Easter egg every now and then!
