In my Happlify your life book, week 36 stands for Art. There the question is answered whether art makes you happy and why. In short, I can tell you that coast can definitely improve your mood. Especially because art puts your brain to work with new impressions.
Art is of course very person dependent. What excites one person, another finds hideous and vice versa. But having something in your home that moves you, attaches a lot of emotional value to it and makes you happy every time is priceless, right?!
Mark Ryden
My favorite pop art artist is Mark Ryden. His world is nostalgic, seems lovely but at the same time disturbing. Bears with oversized heads and glassy eyes, princesses in meat dresses and an overdose of camp symbolism suffused with candy-colored pastels. As a surprise, my husband Mark once lured me to Paris to meet my great idol. What a feast that was!
