Webshop of the month: Hipinderegen, stylish through every downpour

We've all been there: your outfit is on point, your hair is perfect... and then it starts pouring. But don't panic, because Happlify Crew Hipinderegen turns a rain shower into a fashion moment! This fantastic webshop, owned by Fanny, brings Scandinavian flair to our wet little country. No bright plastic ponchos, but elegant raincoats, stylish boots, and umbrellas you'll love to wear. Every item is personally tested, so you can be sure you'll not only look great but also stay nice and dry. And if you can't figure it out yourself? Fanny is happy to help you find your perfect coat. That's why we're proudly celebrating Hipinderegen as webshop of the month. Bring on the rain! We asked Fanny a few questions. Want to read along?

1 - Who are you and what do you do?

I'm Fanny, a mother of four, and I live in a village just north of Alkmaar. I love the versatility of being an entrepreneur. From selecting new collections to helping customers find the perfect raincoat and processing all the orders. It's all fun! Besides the Hipinderegen webshop, I also own SlabEnZo.nl .

2 - How did you come up with the idea to start your webshop?

I didn't start Hipinderegen myself. I've been the proud owner of Hipinderegen for over a year now. Before that, Hipinderegen was actually my competitor, because I also own the LoveforRain webshop. These two shops merged earlier this year, and Hipinderegen.nl is now the coolest and hippest webshop for rainwear in our wet little country 😉

3 - What is your current favorite product and why?

My favorite product, I'm going to confess right away. I don't have just one... my coat rack is full of them now 😊. Danefae has super cute printed coats, but the long coat from HappyRainyDays is also a must-have for cycling. The Tretorn rain boots are what I wear every day when walking the dog through the grass.

4 - What do you enjoy most about running your webshop?

I can do what I want, whenever I want. I really enjoy customer contact, and it shows; Hipinderegen.nl now has a 9.5! I also really enjoy my warehouse; I manage everything myself, which helps me maintain high quality. You can see and feel your own products, and you can also provide tailored advice.

5 - How do you keep your webshop/collection interesting for your customers?

By buying the very best and trendiest products. No mass-produced items, but products that make my heart beat faster. By now, I have a sense of what's popular and what could be, and of course, I keep an eye on fashion trends and colors. I share this in the webshop through blogs or on social media. Of course, we also share the new collections through theHipinderegen newsletter.

6 - What do you think of Happlify? And why are you and your shop on Happlify?

Happlify is a truly fantastic idea from Mariko; it's wonderful to give unique shops such a platform! And Happlify is growing so much; it's a joy to visit the website regularly and spot new, fun shops showcasing their products. It's great that Hipinderegen.nl is also part of Happlify!

7 - Is there anything else interesting we should know about your webshop?

It's nice to know that our raincoats aren't just for rain. They're full-fledged jackets, only with the added bonus of being waterproof. And our winter collection is so wonderful! Warm, windproof, and waterproof, so always protected. Since I started working in rainwear, I've seen rain differently 😊. Rain can simply make me happy, and not because I generate a nice profit, but because I can shine in one of my beautiful raincoats!
