One step further

Did you know that every phone, from the Samsung S25 to lesser-known and older versions, a pedometer? You can easily keep track of your steps per day with this. This is not accurate to the step, but it is certainly correct in broad terms. Try to set a goal for yourself every day, for example to reach 10,000. This is a simple and accessible way to really get fitter. Walking boring? That is the first reaction of people until they start doing it. The effect of walking is much broader than just for your fitness, also improving your mental and social state. Walk together with a friend, or call family while walking. Just put on earphones and your Samsung in your pocket and you will be 10,000 steps further in no time. Listening to a podcast on your phone or an audiobook are also ideal to combine with your walk.

Exercising from home

The reason that people stop going to the gym at some point is not because they don’t like the gym per se. It’s more because it doesn’t fit into their busy daily schedule. Exercising at home can give you impressive results and you don’t need anything else. Just your good quality phone and a few apps, and you can do any workout from home. From a pilates class that strengthens your core to a HIIT workout that really gets your heart rate going. Ideally, you should combine different types of exercise and do this a few times a week. Your fitness will skyrocket and you don’t need much for it. A good smartphone already supports most apps, and in terms of time, half an hour is often more than enough.

In short, getting fitter has never been easier. A final good tip is to explore the health section of your smartphone. You can monitor a lot here, including your sleep and heart rate. All components of fitness that together ensure that you feel good about yourself. It is also smart to monitor your nutrition for a while, because if you do that you will notice that you sometimes eat more than you would like without noticing. By consciously entering it for a while, you will see that you can also leave certain things out of your daily menu. This will ensure that you quickly lose a few pounds without noticing, something that will certainly do the fitness of most people good!
