February is already well and truly here and Valentine's Day is just around the corner. Fleur has a really fun and easy DIY for you especially for this day: Valentine's cards with a candy heart . The great thing about it is that you only need a handful of items that you can probably find easily. Take a look for yourself...

This is what you need:

  • Candy Necklaces
  • Iron wire
  • Pliers
  • Needle/Lancing device
  • Ribbon
  • Pair of scissors
  • Cards (can be found in my secret webshop at www.liefsvanfleur.nl )
  • Cellophane bags

Here's how to do it:

STEP 1 - Thread the chain onto the wire so that you can shape the chain into a heart.

STEP 2 - Then poke two holes in the card for the ribbon to go through. Write something sweet on the back and put the card in a cellophane bag. Done!

The great thing about this DIY is that you can make it all year round. Because why should we only show someone we care on Valentine's Day? Sometimes an unexpected gesture of love on a regular Tuesday in October can mean even more.

And do you know what the best part is? When you make these hearts, you automatically put so much love in them that the recipient simply has to feel it. It's like a hug in the form of a sweet gift.

Have fun making! Love from Fleur
