Now that spring is in full effect you really start to notice it, things are changing again. The sun shows itself every now and then, the summer dresses come out of the closet, Scheveningen was full again this week o_O and around us it is messy. It is messy from the tidying up neighbors. The entire shed contents on the sidewalk, cleaning and vacuuming, throwing away and -hup- everything neatly arranged back inside.
Tidying up is SO nice! Not only for the space around you, but also very much for your mind. And that's why we have a few really good tips for you to make a nice clean house this spring. Put number 1 on your Spring bucket list : TIDYING UP!
TIP 1 - Marie Kondo, the manga comic book
Yes, there she is again, Marie pops up here more often, but that's because it works so well. Do you not like reading yourself or do you have a bunch of (pre)pubescents in the house who don't think tidying up is a thing? Then this manga comic book might not only be a handy tip for you. The story is about Chiaki, a young woman in Tokyo who struggles with a messy apartment, a messy love life and a lack of focus. In a playful way, Marie Kondo helps Chiaki to to get her house - and life - in order. An entertaining 'case study' for all ages, illustrated by award-winning manga artist Yuko Uramoto.
