Plants—they're found in every home, and I can only list the advantages of these delightful ambiance-enhancers. Although I don't have a green thumb, and mine die occasionally, I'm generally pretty good at caring for them, and if you choose the right plants, you sometimes don't have to do much.

The benefits of houseplants
First, let's look at the benefits of houseplants . It's quite a list:
- They make you happier . You bring the outdoors in, and because you generally spend more time indoors than outdoors, you simply turn your home into a jungle. You can also relax while caring for your plants and, of course, talk to them a lot, because it works.
- They produce oxygen . Plants fill your living room, bathroom, bedroom, or wherever your plant is located with air, because they convert carbon dioxide into oxygen.
- They keep the air healthy . Plants also purify the air. Plants convert toxic substances like formaldehyde, trichloroethylene, xylene, benzene, ammonia, and toluene, which are suspended in the air and often unknown to us (and even unknown by name), into clean substances.
- They keep you focused . If you're easily distracted, having a plant nearby is ideal, as it helps with your concentration.
- They keep you healthy . Because plants are natural humidifiers, they can help with sore throats, coughs, and nasal congestion.
- They help you sleep better, so quickly place a few plants in your bedroom. Because they emit aromatic compounds and convert oxygen, you'll be drifting off to dreamland in no time. This is especially true if you add lavender, as this plant is known for its coumarin content, which helps you sleep better.
- They lower blood pressure . A study from Kansas State University found that patients returning from surgery recovered faster if there were flowers and plants in their rooms, and consequently, their blood pressure also lowered.

Ideal plants
If you live in a small space, air plants are the ideal plants. Even if you don't have a green thumb, you'll have to work really hard to kill these plants. These are the Tillandsias I found at Airplantshop . What lovely plants they sell! Well, it's more about decorating the plants. Tillandsias require little care. A little water once or twice a week, some light and air, and a little love, and your plants will thrive.
I immediately fell in love with the jellyfish (sea urchin) trio. With their beautiful sea urchin shells, they look incredibly cute, and you can decorate them in so many ways. They look lovely hanging from a lamp, but hanging from a branch in a large vase is also a lovely touch.
The standing Tillandsia in shell are supplied in sets of three and look great in your living room, but they are also ideal for brightening up your workplace.
So if you could also use some luck, health and concentration, go shopping for plants and turn your living room into a cozy jungle.
